Foster Care

What is Foster Care?
Foster Care provides a safe and secure family environment for children and young people who, for a range of reasons, are unable to live with their own families.

Who can be a Foster Carer?
Anyone over 21 years of age, from any background or life experience, who can offer a secure and welcoming home environment can become a foster carer. Someone just like you.
How do you become a Foster Carer?
We will guide you through information sessions, training and the formal accreditation process so you are equipped for fostering and once you're ready, you will join a devoted team providing support to children or young people in need.

We acknowledge the Traditional owners of the lands on which we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders as the first people. They have never ceded sovereignty, and remain strong in their enduring connection to land, water and culture.
