Mallee Family Care Christmas Appeal

For many children and young people, Christmas is a time of excitement, celebration and receiving a gift they’ve been looking forward to. But for families experiencing hardship, the festive season can bring extra financial pressure and uncertainty.

Each year, Mallee Family Care’s Christmas Appeal brings the community together to help ensure children and young people engaged with our programs have something special to open on Christmas morning.

How you can help
There are two ways to support this year’s Appeal.

1. Donate to our Christmas Appeal
Your donation helps us buy gifts for local children and young people on your behalf.

Make a secure, tax-deductible donation using the form below. You will receive a receipt via email once your donation is processed.

2. Pick a gift yourself
You can drop off new, unwrapped presents Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm until 8 December at:
  • Mallee Family Care, 122 Ninth Street, Mildura
  • Ray White Swan Hill, 199 Campbell Street, Swan Hill

Tips for gift donations
  • Please give new items only.
  • We suggest gifts to the value of $30.
  • Leave gifts unwrapped (or place in a gift bag) so they can be matched to children's ages and interests.
  • Gifts are needed for children and young people aged 0 to 18.
  • Gift vouchers are a great option for teenagers.
  • Please do not donate food items, chocolate or lollies.
  • Please avoid weapon-style toys such as swords, Nerf guns, water pistols etc.

Together, we can help make sure every child has a reason to smile this Christmas.

Thank you to our Christmas Appeal supporters
In 2025, our biggest Christmas Appeal yet supported 862 children across our region – a 58% increase on the previous year.

This incredible result was made possible by the generosity of local businesses, community groups and individuals who donated gifts and supported the Appeal.

We gratefully acknowledge their contributions.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders as the first people. They have never ceded sovereignty, and remain strong in their enduring connection to land, water and culture.

We are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion.
